Gunfleet Sands Offshore Wind Farm

RMi Engineering Ltd have carried out a wide variety of activities at Gunfleet Sands Including:

• Commissioning and repairs to the offshore platform’s Hydraulic crane, including load-testing certification, snagging, repairs and modifications to the Hydraulic power packs
• Rigging and lifting services for various non-standard items being moved back and forth from the substation
• Fault finding servicing and repair to standby Diesel Generator sets on the offshore substation
• Retro fits and load testing to the turbine davit cranes across the field
• Inspection and replacement of fall arrest equipment
• Fabrication and repairs to G09 radar platform including prototype guards & handrails along with electrical installation and inspections
• Provision of Rescue duties for confined space operations
• Provision of ultra sonic weld examination and certification to DNV regulations of access ladders
• Painting inspection and repairs post works
• Inspection and reporting on the WTG foundation settlement in the confined space
• Field-wide LOLER examination campaigns
• Hot works team carrying out cutting and removal of Met mast
• Removal and replacement of transformer through turbine door using a bespoke fabricated extraction
